Just kidding, Hey Matt & Craig 👋 This week was the launch of #sydneydoesntsuck , a campaign that works with bars and venues across Sydney to ditch single use plastic straws. It’s been pretty cool to be a part of the team, but what’s coolest of all is that with venue commitments to date, a conservative estimate is that we’ve already avoided more than 5 MILLION TURTLE KILLERS in the City of Sydney area alone! 🐢👍
We’re stoked to be airing this laundry, as @unileveranz announces a landmark move to introduce at least 25% locally sourced & manufactured recycled plastic into some of their key brands. Why is this news so fresh and so clean, clean? This is the first time a major brand has come on board to work towards creating a local market for this type of plastic. While also creating new life for 750 tonnes of plastic a year!
