Claire Maloney, Co-Founder & Director

The Bravery

Claire is the CoFounder and Director of The Bravery; A beacon for purpose-lead brands, organisations and practitioners. Claire produces creative and high-impact strategies and campaigns, with implementation and multi channel integration capabilities. 

This is all delivered under Claire’s leadership of over 12 years experience in consumer, corporate and NFP communications, and as a media expert within current affairs and issues-rich environments, with specialist crisis media management skills. 

Claire is also the Acting Chair of not-for-profit enterprise, One Girl - working to educate a million girls - where the board's passion for best-practice governance, alongside growth strategies and mentoring, has seen the organisation be highly successful in a crowded sector, raising over $1 million in the last year.

Advocate for women in business, communication for purpose, diversity and boards/governance - regular speaker on these topics and available for media, news and current affairs commentary. Open to approaches for mentoring, just send her an email to chat.


Alexandra Loftus, Senior Account Manager

Alex is an esteemed communications professional with over six years experience across the corporate, consumer technology and not-for-profit sectors. 

She is a proficient practitioner within the areas of corporate communications, PR and publicity, issues management, stakeholder engagement and digital marketing. 

She continually strives for excellent client relations as well as results and loves the power of effective storytelling. Alex is dedicated to social justice initiatives and local campaigning and is passionate about building the sustainability practices of brands she works with. 

Alex holds a bachelor of Communications, Public Relations, Politics and Organisational Communications from Charles Sturt University.

Alli Hopkins, Account Executive

As a purpose-driven communicator, Alli has a passion for social welfare, building meaningful relationships and marketing how our clients are positively contributing to the planet and people. 

With previous experience working within a consumer focused lifestyle and beauty PR agency across media relations campaigns, content creation and social media strategy, Alli is excited about further developing her communications expertise in the sustainability and social impact sector. 
Alli has obtained a Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) from the University of Technology, Sydney, and is always on the hunt for learning opportunities be it through books, courses, travel or cool new experiences.




Samantha Manson, Communications Account Assistant

The Bravery

Samantha is a recent communications graduate with a keen interest in social justice and sustainability. 

She has a strong set of communication and marketing skills, and has previously worked in the environmental and not-for-profit sectors. She has agency experience in online digital marketing.

Samantha joined The Bravery in 2016 and assists across all accounts. She is passionate about bringing creative stories to life. She loves the power of words and enjoys terribly wonderful puns.

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Communications and Media with a minor in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame, Australia.
